3) Regularly inspect all parts of the machine.
The hydraulic system, lubrication system, cooling system, emergency stop button, and travel limit switch of the CNC milling machine are equal to the safety-relevant parts of the equipment. Frequent inspections are needed to detect problems in time and eliminate hidden dangers.
The wear and tightness of transmission belts, the cleanliness of hydraulic oil, lubricating oil and cutting fluid, the wear of electric motors and tachogenerator brushes, and circuit breakers, contactors, relays, and single-phase arc extinguishers must be checked regularly.
4) Prevent the machine from running with failure.
Once the equipment fails, it should stop processing immediately, analyze the cause of the failure and eliminate the failure before continuing operation. It is forbidden to run the milling machine under fault conditions, otherwise the equipment may be seriously damaged.
5) Timely adjustment.
After working for a long time, the backlash of the screw will increase, which will cause the positioning accuracy and repeated positioning accuracy of the milling machine to deteriorate. There will also be a large gap between the guide rail and the insert, which affects the machining accuracy of the machine.
6) Replace the wearing parts in time.
After the transmission belt, bearing and other accessories are damaged, they should be replaced in time to prevent equipment and personal accidents.
7) Always pay attention to the grid voltage.
The numerical control device usually allows the grid voltage to fluctuate within the range of 10%. If it exceeds this range, it will cause the system to malfunction and even damage the system. If the grid voltage fluctuates greatly, it is better not to start the CNC milling machine, and the CNC milling machine can only be used after taking voltage stabilization measures.
8) Replace the storage battery regularly.
Most CNC systems are equipped with batteries, and the power-off devices in the system are used as power sources to store data. When the battery voltage is insufficient, the system will give an alarm prompt. At this time, the battery should be replaced in time to prevent system data loss during power failure.
9) Increase the operating rate of the machine as much as possible.
Newly purchased CNC milling machines and CNC machining centers tend to have relatively large failure rates in the early stages of use. Users should make full use of the machine tool during the warranty period to expose their weak links as early as possible in order to be resolved during the warranty period.
When the machine is not working, it should be powered on regularly, and run for about 1 hour each time to remove or reduce the humidity in the milling machine by using the heat generated during the milling machine operation.
